WAKALI from Tabora, the Tabora United team has started preparations for the second round of the NBC Soccer Tanzania Mainland Premier League where their next game will be against Azam FC.
The game is expected to be played on February 19, 2024, at the Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium, in Tabora.
The team Tabora Bees started training immediately after finishing the first round of the game against Namungo and drawing 1-1 with one goal while Tabora United was scored by Erick Okutu.
Tabora United under the head coach, Goran Copnovic continues to train to position himself well in the games of the second round of the NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League as well as the Azam Sport Federation ASFC Cup.
Tabora United's Press Officer, Christina Mwagala said: "We have finished the first round with Namungo and now we are preparing for the second round where we will meet Azam FC on February 19, and the team's condition is good so we are getting ready.
"The first round has ended with a total of 16 points, we are not good mathematically according to the goals we had set for ourselves as a team, but we still have a chance to do well in the games in front of us.
"Also, in terms of the health of the players, there are two injured, Kevin Pemba Kingu and Erick Okutu, the goal scorer against Namungo, who failed to continue the game after being injured while goalkeeper number one John Noble is suffering from Malaria," he said.
